Description
The tiny producing region of Santa Barbara is special – very special. When it comes to coffees found here, it’s not a question of whether they will be good or bad, but rather just how good they will be. We have been working in Santa Barbara since 2012, and have had great success with exemplary producers like Margarito Herrera in El Cielito and Wilmer Dubon in El Cedral. Sebastian has been lucky enough to visit this region multiple times per year and has had a chance to cup coffees from a number of producers throughout the region. He loves the coffee from Santa Barbara, so much so that we bought some land with Margarito and will be planting it with Geisha (from Panama), SL-28 (from Kenya via Costa Rica), Pacas (from Honduras) and a Typica heirloom variety from Ethiopia.
